Managing attendance and payroll manually carries the risk of delayed data consolidation, calculation errors regarding salary components, and inadequate control over the validity of employee attendance records. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee payroll management system for Rumah Makan Bang Awal, featuring managerial approval workflows and geolocation-based attendance verification. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, employing an object-oriented design approach. System modeling utilized the Unified Modeling Language (UML)—including use case, sequence, and activity diagrams—alongside database relationship designs. The system integrates the management of data regarding employees, branches, positions, shifts, attendance, leave (including sick leave), loans, overtime components and deductions, salary submissions, managerial approvals, and payroll history. Implementation results demonstrate that previously fragmented payroll administration processes have been consolidated into a single web-based application, while geolocation features facilitate location verification during attendance logging. This research has produced an integrated system that supports the entire payroll workflow, from attendance recording to salary approval. Further research involving structured functional testing and user acceptance evaluation is required to quantitatively assess the system's reliability.
