Manual irrigation of chili plants often leads to inconsistent water delivery, which negatively affects plant growth. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring and control system for chili plant irrigation. The system was developed using an ESP8266 microcontroller, a DHT22 sensor, a capacitive soil moisture sensor, an LDR sensor, Supabase as the cloud database, and React for the web interface. The system is capable of monitoring air temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity at 60-second data update intervals, while supporting both manual and automatic irrigation control modes. Implementation results demonstrate that all system components function as designed, successfully recording 4,469 monitoring data points, and enabling centralized monitoring, irrigation control, and parameter configuration via a single web-based interface. The developed system provides an effective and easily manageable solution for irrigation monitoring and control.
